ANGIE LADUKE - Big Band/Country Swing/Nostalgia
Artist: Angie LaDuke
Album: There Once Was Love
Category: Big Band/Country Swing
Road Records Catalog #RR72199
Produced by Conrad Askland
Publishing by Granny Grace Publishing

Angie's project was very exciting to work on because of it's wide range of styles and intricate arrangements. Her album includes an army of live players including a full horn section and string trio. Her music is ideal for insertion into movie scores as it creates authentic big band sounds of the 1940's, classic Texas swing, and some very interesting period pieces including the sounds of a Parisian cafe in the early 1900's and a full orchestral piece ala scores from "Titanic"

In February of 1999 Angie LaDuke was featured in the Victorville Daily Press with a full page article promoting her new album and CD release party. In fact, her project is so unique she was offered a half dozen publishing contracts from various companies within weeks of her release

All horn and orchestral arrangements were scored and recorded on site at the Road Records recording studio and produced by Conrad Askland. Angie LaDuke will be featured on the Road Records CD compilation release New Faces Volume Four.
