PD Westman makes his Road Records debut on the CD compilation New Faces Volume Three with his song "Shelter". The piece is a very high energy AC/Pop song with a funk horn arrangement which could be compared to Peter Gabriel's smash hit "Sledgehammer"

Westman's music is very spiritual and the depth of his lyric writing could be compared to that of pop music artist "Sting". "Shelter" was written by PD Westman, and engineered at Road Records recording studio by Conrad Askland.

Farewell to a Good Friend
Pete "PD" Westman passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2004. The service was well attended by a large gathering of business associates, friends and a host of musicians Pete has played with over the years. Pete was instrumental in giving us business advice and insight over a span of 14 years and he will be greatly missed. His final piece at the studio, which remains unfinished, was a a folk song in 3/4 time called "Nap Town".
